Franchise FCcmonurz For a newly promoted a side, a defence featuring Kenny, Gabbidon, Young, Ferdinand and Traore isn't half bad at all.
Two of those three have Prem relegation history (one extremely recently) and another has an average scoreline from Prem starts of 2-8.
That's more than half bad - more like 60%
That's clutching at straws. Kenny is a hugely under-rated keeper (by me included), Luke Young has played for England and probably would still be in the squad had he not made himself unavailable. Ferdinand is inconsistent, but a very good defender on his day. Gabbidon isn't Maldini but he is solid enough, one of those players who can slot in to a newly promoted side and give them experience of the top division. Traore is arguably the weak link, but anyone good enough to go on loan to Juventus is good enough for a smaller Premier League club.
Add Barton, Dyer, Crouch (maybe), Taraabt (for now), QPR have assembled a decent enough squad, now Warnock has to get them playing together (In that respect Barton would be a project just on his own!)
They can't be criticised for their efforts in the transfer market.
