it would. which is why i apologised sincerely. i have a friend with a downs syndrome child. i shouldnt have said it. i can only apologise again. like i said, im ill, and i wasnt thinking straight.


that said, if you speak to people with downs syndrome they dont give the impression that their life has been blighted at all.

Um, that I find people with Downs Syndrome to be more worthwhile human beings, intelligent and socially capable than you? I know it's damning them with faint praise, but I'd be happy to pass that on. The only person with Downs I've spent any time with was a delightful young chap.

I live near a Camphill village and do some shopping there. The people with downs syndrome seem the happiest of them all. They do not know there life is blighted and awful!

The personal attacks on these forums need severe monitoring, its as if we have no mods, or mods that only block posts from people like Kes.

How about you just mod everyone on equal ground and if people make personal attacks, remove their posts...explain why...then issue a 24 hour ban? Maybe people will actually learn?
