Even before last season he had a very good track record as an impact sub and he's still only 24
WBA don't throw their money away lightly and clearly drove a hard bargain but if it's £4.5m up front rising to a potential £6.5m that's a good deal for both clubs.It's also hard to imagine a better deal for Shane................................a very decent manager at a club where he should play every week provided he performs close to his true potential.
