Royal Lady Today we started with a strike force comprising a striker from Hereford and one from Rotherham. You reap what you sow.

Compared to the 06 team where we usually started with a player from Cambridge and the other from Cork, Where they come from and how much they cost has nothing to do with how good they are as players.

Royal Lady I knew it was going to be bad as soon as we kicked off - the fans hadn't even turned up today - no chanting, clapping, getting behind the team - that was disgraceful.

.

Disgraceful? Um no. The team are playing utter garbage with 4 defeats in a row. The club is on a massively decline, we play boring god awful football and the first touch from kick off today was a woeful back pass which set the tone for the day. Why on earth would the fans turn up and make a racket with everything thats gone on?

Royal Lady Leigertwood - has been pretty meh since signing a contract - hardly put in a tackle - 3

He's not putting in many tackles because he's not getting around the park like he used to.

He looks like he's either carrying an injury or he needs a good kick up the arse.

I would suggest we didn't even do that today, or even looked likely to, it was far worse.

Chaney Manset 7, best Reading player IMO, little or no service but tried his hardest.

 Which game were you watching? He was completely shit - too lazy to tackle or jump, stupid fancy crap like back heels that always failed. He was the worst player on the pitch.
IMHO, of course

Got a lot of hope for the new boys, though - Mills has all the energy we need; if he can just sort his passing out...; Gorkssssssssssssss looks useful and Alfie was promising in the first half. Not sure what happened to him after pie time.

It's the old boys I'm worrying about:
Were any of our players on the pitch for their second goal?
Why is Jobi captain?
And how slow is Pearce? I could have outrun him today!

I love going to matches

Can some people from the game comment on Feds - is he just unlucky/has a shite defence/ makes more poor decisions than Amy Winehouse?

Played well, made several saves, didnt drop anything he came for and smothered a 1v1 by racing out and getting to the ball before the striker after the defence were sliced open like a cake...again.

I already said that - my point re the strikers and where we bought them from is to do with having just sold millions of pounds worth of players - of having never replaced Gylfi and now, imo, we haven't replaced Long with a similar quality.

hahnemann - fulham reserves
shorey - leyton orient
ingimarsson - brentford
sonko - brentford
murty - york city
little - burnley
convey - the u.s (another 'gamble'/unknown before he cam here)
hunt - brentford reject on his way to bradford city before we stepped in
sidwell - arsenal youth
harper - arsenal youth
doyle - cork city
long - cork city
kitson - cambridge
lita - bristol city

come on. even you must realise your comment about our strikers was plain uneducated?

Yes, I'd agree with that in the main.

He simply doesn't boss his area - I only heard him call out once today; mostly, he seems to leave his defenders to muddle around. And he can dither about whether to come forward or stay on his line.
He does make some nice saves though!

Sidwell >>>>> Sigurdsson >>>>> what we have now.

Doyle >>>>> Long >>>>> what we have now.

Sonko >>>>> Mills >>>>> what we have now.

and so on.

A steady decline. I still cearly remember the threads laughing that we had sold Matt Mills.

There was some true dross on the ptich today. Proper shite. Jimmy Kebe can quite frankly fck off if hes going to mope around the pitch with his head down.

And is there anyone out there that still thinks Alex Pearce has a future at this club? The blokes been shuffling round the pitch like he wears Calipers for 4 years now & its plain fcking embarassing. An utter footballing spastic.

So I take it you were getting a coffee when he stopped that 1v1 by charging out then?

Most of those players were given time to establish themselves in the side and adjust to the football at this level and as the team grew together they were brought in at different stages.

I take it youve been in the toilet when hes let in the dozens of cheap goals low to his right?

Not really, no. How many millions of pounds worth of players did we sell before we signed any of the above? For umpteenth time, my point remains that we sold Gylfi, Mills and Long for millions - we let Zurab go - prior to that we got the PO final - we sell them - we end up playing Manset and Le Fondre up front - now are you telling me that they are both going to end up another Doyle or Long? It's too early to tell with Le Fondre, I'll grant you that - but Manset? Seriously? We haven't replaced like-for-like - we've had to replace on the cheap, considering what we have sold for. You can argue I'm wrong until you're blue in the face - but until we are pushing for promotion with this current team, I will continue to believe that we've made a very big mistake.

JS28ZoD Cummings 6 not long enough to do anything but no mistakes

 Didn't do anything but didn't make a mistake? I should hope not. Surely some law of physics would be infringed if he did nothing and yet somehow made a mistake?
