But there are loads of Reading Fans who value something to moan about.

For them Saturday and previous matches are great occasions.

Saturday and the previous matches were definitely not great occasions for me. Nor were the occasions when we threw away strong positions and ended up getting relegated. Believe you me, I would much rather be discussing the great football we have just seen, great goals scored, talented players and, heaven forbid, how we just keep winning!

However, I will not remain silent whilst, in my opinion, one man's pretty unique view of the best way to run a football club in the English professional leagues threatens to take us right back to from whence we came.

You moaned when we went up, you moaned when we finished 8th, you moaned when we came down, and you've moaned when we've been in the play-offs and got to the Qtr finals of the FA Cup in successive seasons.

You're an idiot.

Simon's Church
Royal Lady
muddyfeet woah hold on - did you purposely arrange your wedding outside the ftball season?

Both of them. Yes. What is the point of having a wedding during the season when half your family on both sides have STs and would have faces like a slapped arse because they're missing a game!

Your family would rather go to a Reading game than your wedding?

The question mark is superfluous, it was a statement.

That's all part of the masochistic tendency of the long-suffering lower division football supporter. There's as much warmth recalling some of the dross with had to endure over the decades as the successes of the last 25 years or so.

Friday's Legacy
Royal & Ancient So if they go down a Division and more in the future as they deserve then I won't be there.
Goodbye!!!!

and we don't need plastic supporters like you either. i'd rather have a crowd of 6000 again than idiots like you who sit there and bitch all the time.

i don't care what division we are in, i'll be there every week like i have been for the last 25 years.

in for away to crawley on a wet tuesday evening!

I'd rather not celebrate mediocrity. I love the way people feel they need to prove their loyalty when someone criticises the way the club is run.

Look, it's a well run club from a financial perspective yes, but it ultimately less ambition of getting into the premiership and establishing itself as a mid-to-lower prem team than your average league two club. The problem is that SJM has taken he club as far as he can AND more importantly wants. The thing is, he knows his too. He has done an absolutely fantasic job, but the sooner someone with real ambition comes in the better.

There is quite clearly a divide between supporters - those who romanticise the club whichever division we are in and those who believe the club has the potential (the set up is there) to be much bigger. Just look at Stoke. We had our chance to establish ourselves in the premiership and we f*cked it up. They didn't.

Royal & Ancient Well thank you R.F.C. for ruining our week. Our Golden Wedding anniversary, superb meal out with loads of friends, big home party with even more and then we go on Saturday to one of the worst games that I can remember in all my 60 + years of supporting this Club. And certainly this is my last as I, as well as the Chairman, can no longer afford to support such dross. My shirt will now be used to clean the car and whether I use my S/T again is open to doubt.Angry - you bet I am.
And, I know that some of you will defend him, but if you get such a negative outlook from SJM (I refuse to recognise the 'gongs' ) then this spreads right through the whole Club and now the supporters! Just thank goodness we did not use the expensive hospitality suite.
So if they go down a Division and more in the future as they deserve then I won't be there.
Goodbye!!!!

and f**ck off

as moronic posts go u really the biscuit mate - pun fully intended. Did you think a win was guaranteed? Tw*t.

Hope your car gets nicked.

With the shirt on it - so someone else can use it.

If your never coming again you complete fuc*wit - then why are you talking about using your season ticket again or not? - ar$ehole.
Hope you don't make your next wedding anniversary, 5hithead

What a charming arsehole you are Vic.

There's not agreeing with a post and there's stating you hope someone will die. I would have to say in the grand scheme of things YOUR post and attitude is far worse than anything Royal & Ancient or anyone else has had opinions on.
