Doncaster home 17th Sept thread...it can't get any worse

Team Federici; Cummings, Mills, Gorkss, Pearce; Tabb, Leigertwood, Kebe, McAnuff (c); Hunt, Church.

Not sure Tabb and Church are the answers but worth a go, it can't get any worse.

Subs: McCarthy, Gunnarsson, Howard, Manset, Le Fondre.

I'd rather have Jem on the bench rather Bryn but i guess he might be injured and Bryn can play CB.

Should have been Le Fondre and Howard instead of Tabb & Church IMO

McDermott is really starting to piss me off.

Weakening the midfield with Tabb in for Karacan and starting Church over Le Fondre.

Shit team. Shit game. Shit storm.

Utterly bizzare team choices in there IMO. Tabb was non-existent in his only game this season and is a, less good, straight swap for Jem, who was better than Leigertwood against Watford.

Manset & Le Fondre out after one game together for Church (who hasn't done much in a year) and Hunt.

I can see McDermott becoming a bit too much of a random tinkerer in the hope of finding some magic selection answer. At least Cummings is in.

No wingers on the bench at all, what's HRK done to get dropped out of the squad!?

Decent back four with Cummings in. Le-Fondre being dropped to the bench after just one game doesn't seem right. Both wingers need to perform today. Howard should have been given a chance.
Presumably HRK is injured.

Got himself injured apparently.

I'm not surprised he's made changes upfront either. Hunt would've surely started last week if he'd been fit and so was always likely to come straight back in after last week.

Le Fondre and Manset missing out in favour of Church is slightly odd, especially as the Hunt/Church partnership has really struggled in the past.

Karacan may well have a knock too as I'm surprised by him dropping out completely.

Only 5 of the play-off final starting line-up playing today. None of the back four played in that game.

Looks that we are in to "chicken bones" panic changes with the hope that they fall the right way, its becoming laughable just how far we have fallen over the last three or four years, a large squad in numbers but woefully short of experience and quality, before anyone says it I know we made Wembley last year but that was on the back of a good run, not a consistent season at all and thank god we didnt go up as mister tight arse would still have sold the familly jewels with a whiff of a decent bid and replaced them with paste.

Very surprised about Tabb coming in, the only good thing I can see is at least we have a goal threat on the bench today with Manset and Alfie, then again who is going to supply them with anything?
As someone said earlier in the thread It can`t get much worse, so credit to Brian to making the changes, I only hope he has given our midfield a massive kick up the arse. :?

Fair enough if he's injured. Also not surprised to see HUnt back. Church & Tabb in for Le Fondre & Karacan are the big surprises for me, with Leigertwood surviving.

Not about Reading but Final score commentators complaining about QPR's Hoops and that they can't tell who is what number or something.

We needed to make changes and we have, only time will tell now.
I wouldn't have dropped Le fondre but I think Church has probably earn't a chance after his couple in midweek. I know it was a friendly but the others aren't exactly firing.

In other news, Lita just scored and proceeded to take his shirt off... You would think he just scored the winner in the World Cup by the way he just celebrated...

It's the first game Swansea have scored in this season, you can understand a bit of excitement.

most reading fans i know have become dissatisfied with the direction the club has been going in recent years and can now be seen at york road, scours lane, waterside, stubbs lane, and many more non league grounds around berkshire. i cant say i dont blame them
