Barry the bird boggler Bracknell still getting thrashed every game!

Truro as well have gone right down the tubes, won their first 3 and lost their next 5 - latest being 1-2 at home to Maidenhead

Truro won 2-1 on Saturday at the Animals of Boreham Wood.

Ascot United broke their losing sequence of 6 matches with a deserved win over Witney Town. All three strikers got on the score sheet and the win will give the team a confidence boost ahead of their trip to Fairford on Saturday.

Plastic! Simply make Oxford on the way back home, sure the kids would love to see the city lights and a nice hot dog....

... :) 'tis indeed spectacular ..... though the Piano gets in the way at times! :?

..elsewhere last night RTFC got a good draw at Ardley but poor old Robins were walloped again 5-0 @ Shortwood.

Wokingham edged past Hook Norton in their Vase replay - wasn't much to choose between the two sides - I was at both ties - they have a tougher prospect in Sundays' FA Cup tie H v North Greenford from the league above them.

Nomads back at the top with a win at Slimbridge.

Slightly bizarre set of fixtures in the first couple of months this season. I note Maidenhead have played Tonbridge Angels twice already (MUFC 0-4 TAFC, TAFC 1-5 MUFC), and they are set to play Truro City next week after only playing them a couple of weeks ago. What's that all about? :|

Its even more daft than some of the fixtures thrown up by the FL. Although playing a local team twice on Boxing Day and New Years Days is a good blast from the past.

Maindehead haven't played Tonbridge twice though think you must have dreamt the 5-1 away win!

Could someone tell me what league Binfield would go into if they were to get promoted from Hellenic Prem?

...could be getting your Maidenhead & Farnborough's mixed up?

Doubt if its my (usually faultless  ) results service adrift somewhere above?

... Magpies are indeed playing Truro again soon - and after downing the 'Hawks' (Havant & W'ville) on Tue eve are up to 4th! :o

... here's tomorrow's much awaited NL matches - was a bit tricky to put together 'cos its an FA Cup Round (1st Qualifying) though not too many of our 'local' lower level sides left in (STEP05/06) and STEP03 (Southern & Ryman Premier) come in now - hope I've not missed anyone off? :?

CONFS
Basingstoke v Dorchester
Eastbourne Borough v Boreham Wood
Eastleigh v Hampton & Richmond
Farnborough v Dartford
Havant and W v Thurrock
Staines Town v Bromley
Tonbridge Angels v Salisbury
Truro City v Sutton Utd
Welling v Maidenhead Utd - tough one away at current league leaders - Magpies might go joint top with a win providing neither Woking nor Dartford win as well - but understandably they have the poorest GD amongst the top six, following their awful start.
Weston-S-Mare v Chelmsford
Woking v Dover

SOUTH1S&W
Mangotsfield United v Thatcham Town

The FA Cup with Budweiser – 1st Qualifying Round
AFC Totton V Fleet Town
Banbury United V Slough Town
Burnham V Chalfont St Peter
Chertsey Town V Lewes
Chesham United V Staines Lammas
Godalming Town v Moneyfields
Harrow Borough V Marlow
Hartley Witney V Bashley - I think HW, along with 'Lammas' above, are the lowest 'local' side still involved STEP06 CCL1
Hungerford Town V Horndean
Leatherhead V North Leigh
Leighton Town V Abingdon United
Oxford City V Didcot Town
Poole Town V Kingstonian
Thame United V Brackley Town
Wealdstone V Beaconsfield SYCOB
Whitchurch United V Brockenhurst

Playing Sunday (h)
Wokingham & Emmbrook v North Greenford Utd

CCLP
Ash United v Colliers Wood United
Dorking v Mole Valley SCR
Farnham Town v Raynes Park Vale
Guildford City v South Park

CCL1
Cobham v Bedfont Sports
Eversley v Farleigh Rovers
Feltham v CB Hounslow United
Frimley Green v Westfield
Sheerwater v Warlingham
South Kilburn v Bookham

And both teams in the bottom 4  That said, Windsor hahve only played 5 league games thus far and will lose further touch next weekend as we play in the Vase. If we can produce some of the clinical play similar to last weekend it could be interesting. As for calling us "The Royalists", we still don't have a nickname. Long way to go though but hopefully we can build on last weekend.

Sorry - force of habit - always used it to distinguish you from 'Royals'

... if your season continues to drift a bit, you could call yourselves 'The Stagnants' ! :)

...or maybe the "Has-anyone-got-50p-for-the Meter-ites"
:D

.. maybe the win over Nomads will put you on an upward trend?

Ascot United were a goal down to Fairford Town at half time but the manager put a rocket up the Yellamen and after the interval the Ascot United keeper only got 2 touches. Final score 1 - 3 win for Ascot United.

Awesome result for Hartley Wintney managed by our very own Neville Roach.

Well done Whitchurch Utd. Right near my doorstep and that must be a club first to get that far.

Battle of the sloping pitches was won by Hungerford. Replay would of been great so they can experience their slope which is a bit of a monster!

A very comfortable 3-0 win for Windsor against an ordinary Chessington & Hook Utd team. Could and should have scored more but a win and a clean sheet will give them confidence. Roll on Tuesday night and away to Ash Utd.
