BetFair is a 'shambles' says a punter who lost out on £16k winnings after the site did not place his Totepool bet, despite taking the funds from his account.

Maguire After-timing but what the hell - I put £20 of that ^ on Quito to beat Independiete at 1.5ish which they duly did. Random late night bets which I usually try to avoid
Now i've laid Reading this weekend.
Thinking of some trebles but don't like the fixture list very much so will prolly do some 5-ways for the lulz.

This Alistair Osborne guy has really got it in for betfair - Jon Weedon (who is ex betfair) sums it up well on his comment "This is not business news. This is the kind of tosh I'd expect from Anne Robinson on Watchdog, not from a business editor on the Telepgraph. The author clearly has a personal agenda here. Just look at his recent pieces on Betfair."
Still, I do enjoy a smug LOL @ betfair so fair fvcks.
