Federici - 7 - a couple of great saves
Cummings - 7 - supported Jobi well
Pearce - 6 - decent enough
Gorkss - 8 - commanding at the back, my MOTM.
Mills - 6 - caught out a few times
McAnuff - 6 - took on men but then couldn't pick out a teammate
Ledge - 6 - always looks like he's strolling around the park, can't pass for sh!t
Tabb - 7 - industrious as ever
HRK - 7 - looked to get the ball down and play it, put some good crosses in
Church - 7 - played well but can't afford to miss 4/5 half-chances like he did today
Le Fondre - 7 - seemed to play in the hole, strange for a poacher. Linked play well, had a couple of chances

Happy enough with those, but Jobi gotta be a 4/10. Utterly useless and added nothing

Gorkss MOM??

I thought pearce had a better game than him!

Thought we played alright, started well seemed to press well with no real clear cut chances. In end a point was fair although would have been nice to grab 3 going into the break. Still unbeaten in 4 now!

Pearce just looks to hoof the whole time. Gorkss brings the ball down and plays the pass. It's just Championship experience.

Lucky to get a point, boro were a lot better than us in every department. We are the home team and didn't force their keeper to make a save....I think it says it all about how people are happy with a point instead of being disappointed in terms of how poor our team is these days. I think I could be more creative in the middle of the park than mikele and tabb whose first touches were so bad at times it gives my sunday league village team hope they can still make it. All our half chances came from boro giving the ball away in silly areas, we returned the favor when they hit the post.
We are really not very good.

What does Jay Tabb actually offer apart from work rate?

hard decision for B.Mcd selecting tabb or jem. as soon as we loose a game tabb will be replaced by jem and vice versa. both put in a high workrate but lack end product like a killer through ball.

apart from that not a bad performance (massive improvement on the first 70mins on tues night!) , worrying that we didnt really force their keeper into a save. cummings getting better game by game, le fondre looked busy up top. would still like to see harte back in the team over mills, he managed 11 goals last season for us, although a few were penaltys he still is a source of goals!

Hart would have been rinsed by their winger/striker.

Mills did a good enough job (but in no way great) and he offers a lot more going forward imo

he doesn't offer a lot going forward at all, harte gave us 11 goals or so last season. Whats mills done exactly?

Getting a clean sheet against Boro is more than I was hoping for, so I'm happy. Pleased its looking like we're getting a settled first choice back five, even if there is some time and work needed!

Ummmm Harte offered nothing going forward. Those goals were set plays :|

But if we're talking about having someone in just for set plays, fair enough. But that's a different decision

Robson-Kanu was a lot worse than McAnuff.

A couple of first touches today looked downright amateur, he was huffing and puffing all through the game with little to show.

I was hoping afterr 10 minutes of the second that BMcD was going to swap Tabb for Jem.

I thought Emnes was class for them way to good for this league, I reckon he'll be off soon.

Their fans were decent too, that's the third 0-0 in a row for them.

Moderately happy with the point, no more than that.

Work in progress.

Given the paucity of talent in our squad post black hole filling, a 0-0 draw with no chances at home to a top 2 side is a decent effort.

Credit to Brian and the boys, hopefully, they will improve as they adapt to the new faces but I feel every point is a point towards safety rather than anything else ATM.

Agree with most of that, except i'd give tabb a 6 and not sure church was that great, maybe a 6 for him too.

I thought it was a pretty open game that either side could have won, but I was pretty under whelmed with Boro they weren't that special to be top of the league.

Church was frustrating, making good runs but like an enthusiastic little puppy there was a lot of effort running around but very little else. I was left thinking that Long would have scored 2 or 3 today, and Church is never going to step up.

Our defence looked fragile so the clean sheet is good news, but at the other end one shot on target is not good enough.

Can we now put to bed who our number 1 and better keeper is?

On a final note, how many saves did their keeper have to make?

Decent point against a team who will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.
