1. Went to Newport County years ago. There wasn't many Royals fans there. I was sitting by myself on the terracing at the back of the stand behind the goal, when a Police Officer approached me and frogmarched me down the terracing, over the wall and walked around the side of the pitch (the Newport fans were baying for my blood), to the Police hut situated alongside the stand opposite the main stand. He said that if he ever saw me again in Newport I would be arrested.I asked him what I had done, to which he didn't give me any reason. I was then escorted out of the ground. I then proceeded to walk round to the away turnstile where I gained entry again. I was then able to watch the rest of the game. I never saw that Copper again.
2. Went to Hereford for FA Cup game on the coach. Just after the game started I was grabbed from behind by a Policeman and frogmarched out of the terracing through the turnstiles (at this time he punched me in the mouth) and proceeded to take me to the Police Station and bailed to appear in Court at a later date. I attended the Court and was fined £10. It was a waste of time to plead Not Guilty in those days. I just made it back in time to board the coach back to Reading. The guy who I was sat next to, was surprised when I asked him what the score was. We lost!!!!!!!
3. A the Palace only a few years ago. A gobby steward escorted me out of the ground with about 15 minutes of the game left. As i turned the corner at the top of the road I noticed that the gate to the Home end was open, so I gained entry. I walked to the front of the terracing where I could see the steward who kicked me out. I proceeded to wave to him. The look on his face, seemed to be saying, 'where have I seen him before'.

Only at away games, bristol city , qpr and somehow cardiff. For mixture of standing and bad language. Problem is reading fans like to grass on their own.

Tell them to fcuk off and they usually move. One chap too a dislike to BFooters at Bristol this season and kept shaking his head. Kept quiet though. A partucularly fat munter did the obvious mumble mumble, sneaky comment and look of distain.

Bfooters left at half time in disgust.

Myself along with about ten others got escorted out of the away end at Millmoor sometime ago when we won 3-1 and played in that lovely Yellow kit we had.

That was due to the stewards purposely taking a fellow royals fan glasses off and smashing them so he couldn't see, and we all piled in on the stewards. That was just after Cureton scored to put us 2-1 up so had a bit of a wait for the coach home!

Sadly yes, as a youn tw*t in 1986 at Selhurst Park for making masturbatory signs at Crystal Palace fans. I was kept in a cell at the ground with several others, but released without charge on to the mean streets of South London, a culture shock for an 18 year old from Baughurst. I waited for my mates and after the game we were subjected to sporadic attacks all the way to Thornton Heath where it ended in a riot at the tube station as we were ambushed by Palace skinheads. Somehow, amongst various acts of heroism involving fire extinguishers and chairs, we managed to stave them off until the transport police waded in after what seemed like hours, but was probably fifteen minutes. I don't know if I should be ashamed, but we had a great night out after that, reliving the thrill of our stoical backs to the wall defence of our carriage. And we won 3-1 as well.

Technically he "removed himself" before he was thrown out - in the same way another 'nobber did at Ipswich the same season.

Leicester and er Leicester, Filbert street and the Walkers stadium.

The one at Filbert street was the day Andy Bernal scored and the atmosphere was quite heated due to the fat scottish fella. We were in the corner and being coined by the home fans, so I asked that fat useless copper Benham what he was going to do about the coin throwing. He said nothing so me and a mate started throwing them back. Not big or clever, but like most of y26 when you're in your late teens and had a beer or two you get a bit brave. We were then taken out by stewards through the walkway between the two sets of fans whereupon the Leicester fans decided to reach through and give us a bit of a slap.

The walkers stadium was a bit different, we were sat near the home fans and the stewards decided they were bored and wanted to intervene. We were only gesturing and shouting at the home fans who were giving the same back, it was nothing really just a bit of banter. We were taken out and down to the cells in the ground. We were let go as soon as the final whistle went.

Can't help but slightly LOL at getting thrown out of a match then having to wait around on the street to board a coach home with the sandwich and thermos brigade.

Think it was in 89 when we played Newcastle in the Cup and think it must have been after the equalising 1st goal when a copper manhandled me. Told him "oi mind my leather coat etc". Said was arresting me for disorderly conduct. In fairness, had chucked some coins only 'cos was returning them as well as the obscene/taunting gestures. So was frogmarched into a white van outside the ground, had a picture taken as well. The van didn't leave till the game finished, which was great as was bursting for a pee after consuming copious amount of alcohol beforehand! In the meantime, the van literally shook side to side whenever a goal was scored! So as you can imagine it happened a few times since I was arrested at 1-1! Upon arriving at the Cop shop, realised one of my mates was arrested too. Of course, they let me off with a caution and said got my mug shot on file. I was more annoyed at getting kicked out early in the game.
