Barry the bird boggler I note the article says that the Championship will be hit by the Finacial Fair Play rules next season. Can any one confirm what has been finally agreed so we can all pick out the loopholes.

THey have adopted UEFA's FInancial Fair Play Framework.

Ideal Bad move for Clough, he has spent years rebuilding that Derby team and they are finally doing well.
Why would he jeopardize his future success, by going to Forest and getting sacked after three months?

Sentiment makes people do stupid things.

ZacNaloen Yes it has been agreed

So all 24 Championship teams are going to be ranked as to who is the best run from next season? Woo-hoo, as soon as we reach 50 points this time round I am running out to get the bunting and face paint.

According the Mirror, Clough won't be going to Forest because he doesn't have the right coaching badges.

So if that's all genuine, he can't have long left at Derby can he?

Ideal
rhroyal the club were dreaming about getting back into the Premier League at the first attempt

"At the first attempt", well, unless they were relegated just last year, this is hardly their first attempt, is it?
Author of the article needs to read up on his facts before typing.

They weren't attempting it before now, just playing a game of "see how many strikers we can sign"

Which absolutely sums up whats wrong with football in general. Guy gets given a chance well above his proven level and for about 75% of his time at the club performs below average. Only the back of last season and this season so far have they as a club pushed on...yet still achieved NOTHING. Despite pressure on him in past times to step it up as some of the fans werent happy, the club and large parts of that support kept faith and saw a long term plan for both parties. I don't like derby at all...their fans are idiots..but for him to turn around ( if true) and want to be leaving to go to forest is absolutely disgusting. I don't fall for this " once in a life time chance" nonsense anymore. Forest will sack another 4/5 managers in the next 10 years so he'll have plenty of other chances. Its just a downright lack of loyalty and weakness of character.

To be fair, there's nothing in that Mirror article to suggest that Clough had showed any interest in the Forest job at all.

Harshly treated by Barnsley tbf, saved them and where they are now is just where they were when he was there. Barnsley are only ever going to be a bottom end Championship club for the current time being.
