Reading FC Fans page on Facebook

by nev monkey » 09 Oct 2011 22:34

Hi all, Not sure how much exposure this has got on HNA but there is a Reading FC fans page on facebook. We're trying to give an alternative to the official site, there's full match commentary on every game & just generally hoping to give news & views on RFC. We're not just looking for people to like the page (we've got about 1200 members) we want more points of view & RFC fans to get involved & help shape it.

Visit us on:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Reading-F ... l&filter=2

Oh, wasn't sure where to put it so please move accordingly :D

Good idea - will hopefully act as a wake up call to RFC to sort out their social media offering.

I deleted it yesterday, fed up with it taking the whole page up with inane commentary. e.g Feds catches ball, Feds kicks down field, defender heads clear.

Was going well until the bolded and enlarged attempt of being cool.

Readingfc fans forum on facebook

Is anyone else a 'fan' of them on facebook?

Really good commentary of games but full of spotty geeks making stupid, childish statements constantly.

They also constantly talk about Wet Spam.

The fans' forum makes this place seem an intellectual hotbed.
