Sebastiandonface Signing Matt Robinson was the catalyst for our turnaround. Proper creepy looking mind.
That's the way I always saw it as well

Hampshire Royal + another one!!
Rooster brought a lot of stability to the team and was a decent player. As I remember he was quite badly injured and was never the same player afterwards. Phil Whitehead was also a good signing and was again an important member of the squad that got us promoted!!

Maguire He was utter dogshit after getting reduced by a Millwall player in front of the East Stand in the 4-3 (?) defeat where Neil Harris scored a hat-trick.
Terrible from the time he returned from injury. I used to blame him for everything, including the p/o final defeat.

Jez Remember him puncturing a lung in front of u25 against Colchester! Played I'm possibly my favourite ever game when we beat Oxford 4-3 at home when Tony Rougier literally scored one off his arse and one off his knee in the last 5 mins to win the game in the pissing rain!
