... were only 69 watching the same fixture last season - but that would have been on a (wet?) Tuesday night in February - don't know why a meeting of these two doesn't warrant a 'holiday' fixture - they are close enough after all?

Last season's game at Scours (in September) pulled in over 160 though - interesting to see how many will be there for the same fixture in only two weeks time. :?

Was a very comfortable win for Maidenhead yesterday, once they moved into a two goal lead the win was never in doubt.

Looking forward to the draw, after previously drawing Horsham and Stafford Rangers away hopefully they'll get a league side and a home draw. International weekend means i'll probably attend regardless of where they may end up.

A creditable 2-2 draw for Windsor at Guildford City. That said, the officials were completely useless. Guildford kicked us off the park and the ref was more intent on making sure that every restart was taken from the specific point of the pitch. Of all the games seen this season, there have only been maybe 3 or 4 where the officials have been quietly in control. The rest have absolutely no idea what the game is about and seem to be petrified of the suits in the seats. The FA harp on about their Respect campaign. Well, respect has to be earned and is a two way thing. Of all the clubs I have seen this season, Guildford City are easily the most loathsome! I know Windsor are not the most popular in the CCL but we are proving a lot of keyboard warriors wrong with our approach on and off the pitch.

That was my thinking too. Delighted its a home draw against a league side, tension was killing me towards the end of that draw!

Halifax vs Charlton will be televised.

Basingstole might have a shout against Brentford to be on that box. Some non league clubs will be gutted with their draws With Totton vs Bradford Park springing to mind

Agreed on the first part but can't see the second part coming true - if the game was at the Camrose then fair enough, but seeing as it's at Griffin Park I doubt it will be.

Morecambe v Sheffield Weds will probably end up being one of the televised games.

Missed that one so yes you are probably right. Not sure how many games are covered live now?

Facebook and FA website even cover them now?

...why don't you send in a vote or three? :)

Once again, following games at Broxbourne , Lingfield, Tadcaster , Thame United, Southend Manor and Gateshead so far this season, FATV will be at another game in the Fourth Round Qualifying and we'll be looking for fans suggestions for which game to feature. Send your suggestions to editor@TheFA.com .

... shame they b0gged up the name of the next round though ....

...I'd have thought maybe besides Maidenhead, there's quite a good chance of games at Luton, Southport, Barrow or FC Halifax making it onto a live broadcast somewhere - since they feature ex-league (or association thereof) vs league?
I'd presume they'd sooner feature at match with the NL side at home; 'magic of the cup' etc

Is there really a non league side called Redbridge with Dagenham & Redbridge about?

Redbridge v Oxford City

Obvious game for locals, wonder if it'll be all ticket though?

Maidenhead United v Aldershot Town

Think Maidenhead might just get a TV game.

Oldest Ground, Sam Beasant (son of Dave) playing in goal, local Derby, Drax's history in the cup with Yeading. And Maidenhead have never played a league team at York Road in the FA Cup. 140 years is a long wait!

Barry the bird boggler Is there really a non league side called Redbridge with Dagenham & Redbridge about?

Redbridge v Oxford City

It a bit complex but this is how I think it went (from the Football Club History Database) :-

FORD UNITED - were the Dagenham Ford works team as far as I know...
1974-75 Joined Essex Senior League
2004 Ford United changed name to:-
Redbridge
2004-05 Joined Conference in newly-formed Southern Division
2005-06 Rejoined Isthmian League

Dagenham & Redbridge is the really complex one: involving mergers/reformings and dissolutions around Leytonstone Ilford AND Leytonstone and Ilford/Walhamstow Avenue - with an Ilford still in existence elsewhere and a Leyton Pennant (now Waltham Forest) , as well as a Pennant (old Spartan League club) and then a Walthamstow Pennant somewhere along the lines too. The old Leyton club - which I think had the oldest continuously used-by-one-club ground in London are sadly no more - folded last season or maybe even the one before?

... here's D&R's early NL record.....

1992 Formed as a merger of Dagenham and Redbridge Forest
1996-97 Joined Isthmian League Premier Division
F.A. Trophy runner-up
1999-00 Isthmian League Champions
2000-01 Rejoined Conference
2001-02 Conference runner-up (lost title on goal difference)
2002-03 Not promoted after Play-offs (SF Dagenham & Redbridge 2
Morecambe 1, Morecambe 2 Dagenham & Redbridge 1 - Agg 3-3,
Dagenham & Redbridge won 3-2 on penalties F Dagenham & Redbridge
2 Doncaster Rovers 3 @ Stoke City)

... so maybe the 2 current clubs haven't played each other (in the league anyhow?) but doubtless clashed in an Essex County tie or summat?

Obvious game for locals, wonder if it'll be all ticket though?

Maidenhead United v Aldershot Town

From Magpies own site - following the draw:

http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/maidenheadunited/

This will be the first ever visit to York Road by a Football League Club for a competitive fixture and therefore we will be working hard this week with all the relevant authorities to confirm arrangements for segregation and stewarding. When firm details of capacity and away ticket allocation are known an announcement will be made on this website regarding the price and availability of tickets. Our overriding aim is to ensure the matchday environment is conducive to an enjoyable afternoon for all on what will be one of the greatest days in the club's long history.

There were three games televised in the first round last year. Two by ESPN and one by ITV1. ESPN also covered a replay as well.

Sunday 13 November: 12.30pm - FC Halifax Town v Charlton Athletic – ITV1
Sunday 13 November: 3.15pm – Morecambe v Sheffield Wednesday – ESPN

Maidenhead must of been close but i guess the Newport's status is higher than Maidenheads. The other two were shoe ins

On the bright side, it does make it almost certain Maidenhead v Aldershot will be covered in the Saturday night highlights.

The FA Cup is dying.

ITV are hopeless, they shouldn't be allowed to broadcast at all, never mind broadcast our national sport. I suppose there isn't room in their Saturday schedule for anything other than a bunch of hyped-up nobodies competing in the world's longest drawn out karaoke contest. They'll just shoehorn the best of the goals into their Sunday programme.
