All things considered I expect Chelsea to buy him for about 3 trillion euros.

If Terry is found guilty I would expect Chelsea to termin8 his contract - the same applies to Suarez. The FA have to take a tough stance on this. A ban of 2 years or so, should also apply.

Just like all fans would back their player - RFC fans included.
All football fans are morons.

Agreeing with Kes for once, it's simply unacceptable.

Awful club. Murderers as fans and racist players, no room for such behaviour in this day and age

Sorry m8s, I was out last night.

If Suarez is found guilty then he should face a heavy penalty. It's doubtful in my mind given his supposed mitigation that he will be sacked, but if he is found guilty then I expect a ban of a number of months, and the maximum fine from Liverpool.

I note Kes' post re Terry with interest.

I'm also interested to now see how the Terry case develops. Here we have a player charged with racist abuse that wasn't caught on camera. I wait to see how the FA treats an England captain caught on camera calling someone a 'black cnut'.

How long did Mackie get after the Asaba incident?

4 or 5 games? Can't see Suarez getting more than that if he's found guilty (which he probably will as his excuse doesn't stand up to much scruntiny really).

Can we count on you to lobby the club to termin8 John Terry if he is found guilty?

This. I don't agree, but this is what will happen. 5 games I reckon.

Yes - but then they're not really kicking racism out of football. Do you really think a player would be that bothered by a fine and few games ban? We know he's guilty as he's played the language barrier card.

I'm hoping that he can prove his (alleged) case that Utd's spanish speaking players are also (by extension) racist. That would really get things going.

So after Blatter's comments yesterday, Poyet's now chiming in with the 'just forget about it' line as well.

Not quite what he's saying there.

His point seems more to be about charging someone without what he seems to think is any proof (not sure if that's quite the case though).

I agree with him about not charging someone without proof, if that's the case here. But where he says 'I played football for seven years in Spain and was called everything because I was from South America. I never went out crying like a baby, like Patrice Evra, saying that someone said something to me', he's basically implying people shouldn't report it.

I'd read that more as him saying he'd rather players didn't let it get to them and effect their game.

Poyet, for all his class and ability, was quite a steely character and a tough competitor. I'd give him the benefit of doubt here that he's talking more from the point of not letting it get to you as when you do it's distracting you from your game (hence the reason most of the verbals go on in the first place).

I thought he was implying that Evra was a bit of a whiny bitch, something I'm sure we can all support
