Ideal
Simon's Church So after Blatter's comments yesterday, Poyet's now chiming in with the 'just forget about it' line as well.

Well.. Poyet is from Uruguay, and doesn't Suarez as well?
SO basicly he's just sticking up for his countryman.

As such his statements are worthless, I value what I leave behind in the toilet higher than the statements of Poyet in this case.

A bit like yours on Carew, any Nordic player or Norweigan law and order?

Shocking stuff from Liverpool in the Suarez race row. Drip feeding information when the clubs were told to remain silent on the matter. Tut tut.

Manager backing player shock

If Suarez learnt to stay on his feet more then the abuse would reduce. No doubting his talent; shades of Christiano Ronaldo though when it comes to balance.

This, really. Bags and bags of talent, but players who go down so easily and dramatically are always going to cop some abuse, and need to learn to deal with it. That said, there’s every chance Suarez’s reaction might have related to the racism charge, wouldn’t surprise me if someone has said something as he left the field. Not excusing it at all, but I’d be surprised if he has made that gesture because someone called him a diver.

Apparently that gesture where he comes from means something else so we should let him off.

Yes, where Suarez comes from it means "I love you all, I've put the kettle on and I'm getting out my favourite tea-cozy, why don't you all come over later?" :)

Repeating and reinforcing a joke doesn't actually make it a better joke, you know ......

Its a bit pathetic that fans always get on their high horse about players reacting like this. If you're prepared to hurl abuse at a player for 90mins you shouldn't be offended if they give you the finger in return.

90 minutes of fans giving it "you're a cheating argie (sic) pcunter, fvck off you diving tosser" leads to a single Mills and the same fans are swooning and demanding someone should think of the children
