Hector played well for Barnet on his league debut today apparently.

TBM clean sheet for McCarthy today

Went down well with the supporters too. Commanded his area a lot better than they've had for a while, looked assured and confident. Good distribution and one top draw save apparently.

Burnley could be 3 or 4 up if it wasn't for him, Is it any wonder they shipped so many goals before!?

well held at the freekick there. Spill that and it's a goal.

roadrunner McCarthy impresses at Leeds, experiences passionate support from the Revie End and leaves in January for a measly £1m.

This might not end well.

Was weird seeing someone from Reading go on loan to a much bigger club, but yes, seems like he's doing well and won't want to leave.

Screw McCarthy... watching Mikkel Andersen warming up today was like watching a goalkeeping masterclass... some of the saves that guy actually managed to pull off...

I may be going senile but I can't hear him mention Bignall at all. I also thought that his loan ended when he got injured in his first game for Wycombe :?:

McCarthy - what the Leeds fans say:

MOTM - McCarthy. Kept us in the game, especially first ½. Excellent saves and positioning. Commanded well.

melonhead mcd and himself.

And, of course, it had nothing whatsoever to do with saving a bit more money for the chairman. Wonder whether there was also a loan fee and, if so, how much.
