I was at this. Remember it well.

was it a classic case of giving the smaller club a "2nd bite of the cherry" and making everyone involved a bit more cash??

We were awful. Coasted after going 3-1 up and paid the price in injury time.

I was there as well. Great day, 3-1 up at one point and threw it away (annoying but wasn't that bothered as it meant another FA Cup night at home to look forward to)

It was also one of Phil Burns very rare appearances as keeper as I recall.

I thought it was Danny Honey in goal for the replay? His only appearance for us i think.

One of my favourite ever away days, ended up on the floor twice while celebrating our goals, The famous Red and white arrow away shirt was out in force (I still own that shirt to this day  ) Remember it being a real pea souper fog travelling back on the M4 as well. Fantastic memories of when going to a match really felt like an experience every game you went to.

Great day out. One of my favourite ever games. But, shit, 20 years

The two injury time goals were entirely predictable. We were utter rubbish as I recall. The replay was boringly straightforward.

I mentioned this on the Reading v Chelsea carling cup game thread.

I was actually at this - I recall walking up from the town centre following a bunch of Reading hooligans (Chewitt & co). Not only did they spit on a couple of asians walking down the subway, they chased two black men trying to get into their car and overturned a fruit and veg stall outside an Asian shop. As for the game, that's what the FA Cup was all about. Nice small terrace end jam packed.

Of course, most of you wouldn't have been there since this is pre 2005.

Seem to remember Francis Joseph playing for them.

Epic game, in the car on the way home L******e H***s stated that he was so disgusted at conceding two goal in IT that he wasn't going to another match that season, and kept to his word.

CSB.

No Fixed Abode (Chewitt & co).

I've mentioned this before on here, but he was the one who tried to do a toilet gainst the goal post after the pitch invasion.

Also, the goal highlights from that game on MOTD were set to Primal Scream Don't Fight it, Fell It (Scat Mix), which is an absolute fucking corker of a tune.

I was also there. Went to see Eddie Izzard afterwards with new g/f. Bit too pissed for a fledgling relationship and was the closest I've every come to urinating in my pants in a public place.
