If this happens I will quite happily let Nicky Hammond spunk down my throat.

Surely this shouldn't be on the team board. Actually, if true stuff it this should have it's own board to itself. But I doubt it's true.

Kebe can go, HRK out there, Griffin back in the playing 16, IMHO, like to see Church still involved, but not sure how. Also drop Harte after he showed what he adds to the team. IMHO we need a forward like Long, Doyle or Kitson, that can go out wide and cut in or hold the ball up wide. Hunty can a bit on the left, and hurch could do similar on the right, neither are like Alf in the box.

In a television X stylee - where you just see Hammonds sweaty ginger face go purple as he rings it out followed by Winchester's open mouthed acceptance of his load.

A) Why would this happen when they paid £6m for him?
B) Why would he not go on loan to a random Prem/La Liga/Serie A club?
C) Why would we not do this before the loan deadline a few days ago?

a/hasnt worked out as well as they had hoped

b/ having dropped from the team at Hffnhm, they do not have the time to take a chance on him/also not a permanant move.

c/ as it will be a loan to the end of the season in the hope that he performs well, takes RFC up and moves to The Prem for £20million in the summer.

If he comes, it'll be a good move but there will be a lot of pressure on him. If we don't get to the playoffs and even less likely, promotion, we're really back at square one as there's no way he'd be with us past May. It would also require another of those famed formation changes which we don't seem to adapt to for a good two months; although I think he could do a job in a two-man centre mid, he's clearly best in the hole behind the striker. Again for the long-term it wouldn't be a good move because unless we can find a like-for-like replacement for £0 in June, it's another pre-season of adaptation. The other thing is that he's clearly a better player than a mid-table Championship side - someone like West Brom, Bolton or even Leicester may look at him if he's being offered to other clubs and not just us.

On a side note - 40 posts and not one "UR&G  "?
