If this happens then we should rename the board 'IcelandicStokie Anyone?'

You can only do international loans in January.

Or we should re-name the UR&G section at least! Pretty much always spot on!

Surely he knows that he MUST go to WBA, Wolves or Fulham in the Prem. Villa is an ex-Royals graveyard, just like Stoke

Let me get this straight, he's not playing for Heffenheim, so he'll go to a top ten Premier League team to play instead?

Someone towards the bottom maybe, but Villa? Can't see it myself.

Villa are wannabees still in the Prem. If he has to go to the Prem WBA would be as good a place as any, decent manager who likes to play football and can improve players.

Have you actaully seen Villa play this season, they are trulu shocking and will drop like a stone shortly unless they change things.

As long as the pants are kept on, I have no issue with this!

chilipepper91 If he comes, it'll be a good move but there will be a lot of pressure on him. If we don't get to the playoffs and even less likely, promotion, we're really back at square one as there's no way he'd be with us past May. It would also require another of those famed formation changes which we don't seem to adapt to for a good two months; although I think he could do a job in a two-man centre mid, he's clearly best in the hole behind the striker. Again for the long-term it wouldn't be a good move because unless we can find a like-for-like replacement for £0 in June, it's another pre-season of adaptation. The other thing is that he's clearly a better player than a mid-table Championship side - someone like West Brom, Bolton or even Leicester may look at him if he's being offered to other clubs and not just us.

On a side note - 40 posts and not one "UR&G  "?

*cough cough*

specialjon Surely this shouldn't be on the team board. Actually, if true stuff it this should have it's own board to itself. But I doubt it's true.

Looks like there may be some substance to this. Mate of mine saw Gylfi's agent, Ruel Fox driving him to the Madstad.
