Alan Partridge Magic result for Didcot where on loan Reading FC 16 year old Uchechukwu Ikpeazu was the star of the show scoring a belter for the 2nd goal and being generally far too good for Bromley.

... Big question is whether 'Razor' is still suspended - from what my mate heard at the FA Sunday Cup game @ Scours last week it isn't clear if anyone @ RTFC knows either!
.... Reportedly he's picked up another lengthy ban from the Sunday league which runs along with one he's been serving for the Hellenic - shame he was having a terrific season to date.

Hoop Blah Think the other red was for his other Saturday side (presuming he was playing for them whilst serving his Helenic suspension), but if he also got sent off on a Sunday as well then I think that's 3 reds for 3 different teams in roughly 3 weeks (the Sunday suspension wouldn't count against him on Saturdays though).
Not bad going.
Leading scorer Ray Spence is set to play before starting a three-match suspension a week later, forcing him out of Town's home FA Vase third-round tie with Cowes Sports.
Spence was sent off playing for South Reading and is unavailable for Town until he has sat out three of the Reading Football League side's matches. The Reading League don't have many fixtures planned for December and Town fear it could be after Christmas before Spence is available again

Royal Rother One comment I heard at Windsor was that his team talks (espec half-time) were extremely good and that he's not quite the rough and ready up and at 'em guy his persona might suggest.
His contact book must be superb as you say. He had to rebuild the W&E team in a league higher than when Keith Scott had left and did so rapidly and with great success at a time when players were not always being paid and knew pretty much that the club was going to the cleaners. Now he's at Didcot and seems to be rebuilding again without (to my knowledge) calling on any of his tried and tested old boys.

Royal Rother Yes, Chennells was No 10.
BTW, did you guys recognise our goalscorer, Paul Robinson?
Go back 10 years. He was the player who took Alan Shearer's place on the day that Ruud Gullit dropped him. Scored a few goals for Newcastle but never established himself. Earned a comparitive fortune as a youngster, pissed it up, went down the leagues, out of football, bankrupt, worked on building sites and now playing at this level. We appear to be a stepping stone to him going back up a league or 2 - his fitness has improved markedly over the 6 weeks he's been with us and although he only played 30 minutes last night you can see he is a class above.
