Its kind of irrelevent who we get as we'll just get knocked out in the quarter-finals again. Every bloody tournament. Its just not good enough, too much mediocrity in the team. Frankly I'd rather we were knocked out in the qualifying rounds that having to endure the hype of the draw and the media expectation that we should at least make the semis. Everyone goes on about 1927 far too much.

Now the Euro 2012 draw on Friday, thats got me salivating...

I'll have you know I was there on a cold November in 1877 when Jimmy Kebe's 8 second strike was a pipe dream. But 2 years have dramtically raised my expectations. McDermott out.
