Just one thing I read. We'll lose Khumalo at end January for a few weeks due to the African Cup of Nations. That's why you shouldn't have too many African internationals. We should be able to cope with 1.

Maybe we'll be having a 106 point-esque season and he'll show dedication to the cause and stick with us instead?

What if we end up with 2? A few big IFs, but we could sign Sonko, he could be a big hit and he could end up going with Senegal too!

Whatever happened to this absolute FAILURE of a signing then? Did he play in that epic reserve win against Reading University? Does he go back in Jan so we can sign someone else, providing the financiaLOL bLOLack hoLOLe allows.

BBC put a little joke into their preview of the Peterborough game, suggesting that "Bongani Khumalo is back in contention".
I think we all know (/hope) this is never going to happen.

I thought he looked alright.

What's happening with Sean Morrison?

I thought Bongani looked terrible. Absolutely all over the shop.

Morrison was mediocre at Charlton so I imagine he'll be languishing in the reserves a while longer. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Khumalo head back in January and us look for a new loanee / perm CB to replace him.

I didn't think he was too bad the be honest, thought it was harsh to drop him at the time. Although Pearce and Gorks seem to be developing well so far.

On a side note, Bongani is quite good on FM

It was only a loan deal until January anyway and I can't see us wanting to extending it, him wanting to stay here or Spurs agreeing to extend it.

So its bye bye Bongi.......

Come on people, the guy was dreadful.

Sean Morrison not that much better, but he did have a good song, so I'd like to see more of him.

His main problem was he didn't know how to head the ball - kept leading with his shoulder. First few times I thought it was bad luck .... but he did it every time. Not good for a CB but I'd have thought it was something you could teach him to get over. After all Pearce seems to have learned how to head the ball now ...

His performance against Charlton was the single worst defensive display I've seen from somebody who is supposedly a Premier League footballer.

True story.
