I predict loads of Country Boys from Essex singing songs about being Cockney's ??? and a poncy 1 minute silence for Gary speed (who had nothing to do with Reading FC).

A tight affair just like the Brum game.

0-0 or a 1-0 result either way.

Terminal Boardom The best I can see is a 4-0 drubbing by the Iron. Allardyce has got them playing really well away from home. This game will show exactly how far Reading have to go to be considered also-rans let alone play off contenders. There is not a single Reading player better than their West Ham counterpart.

It's a good job football is a team game then.

Just not the way that Reading play  And I know that I haven't had the misfortune to attend any of the games this season!

If you've been to any games over the last 10 years you'd know that Reading up their game as a team when the bigger teams are around.

By your logic there was no point in Getafe turning up against Barcelona the other week because they had no chance against the likes of Messi but they did turn up and won, Doncaster wouldn't have beaten Southamptonlast week, and we wouldn't have beaten Liverpool at Anfield. In fact there would be no Cup giant killings at all.

Why do people still reply to TB? As he says, he hasn't been to a game this season after having publicly and noisily flounced off yet he still feels qualified to provide an expert opinion

Never have I suggested that I feel qualified to provide an expert opinion. But I am entitled to an opinion. Since when were predictions the sole right of those that go to games? Publicly flounced off? I wouldn't call a members only message board as public. Obviously, you have not noticed that I rarely venture onto match threads or BFTG threads. Oh, and thanks for replying

I would say that this is hardly unique to Reading as you mentioned Getafe's result against Barcelona. It is a fact that a smaller club will 99% of the time raise their game against the bigger and better opposition. Been happening at Reading as far back as I can remember. That's one of the great frustrations of football.

Sorry to disappoint. I was just seeing if you were stupid enough to reply to someone who has you on "ignore".

It is a fact that Reading loose to small clubs, but win against big clubs. I remember high flying Reading loosing to MK whatever one year. The next season MK was playing in League 1 and Reading missed out on the good times.

Ian Royal
Ferris Due to our whacky inconsistency, I'm going for 2-0 Reading.

This.

Le Fondre, McAnuff.

I'm feeling 2 goals too, but we will concede

Reading have no chance against this lot, but then nobody has any chance against the world cup winners
