Thought someone like Arsenal might bring him in, especially with Gervinho away for the ACN.

Not if this (below) comes off

"Arsenal will watch Germany striker Lukas Podolski, 26, as Arsene Wenger weighs up a £15m January move."

TBM David Villa can forget about a move in January

Broke his leg

Tevez to Barca :?:

Unlikely as Tevez is cup-tied for the Champions League. Personally, I hope Tevez crawlls back under the rock he crawled out from and took that slimy Koorabchian, or whatever his name is, with him.

The sooner Tevez f*cks off back to Argentina the better. I am sick of this man.

Deadlock
swansea jack 100k bid accepted for 19 year old Rory Donnelly who's currently banging them in for Cliftonville

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/16047293.stm

The new Kevin Doyle, or the new Dave Mooney?

There's not an awful lot of difference on current form.

soggy biscuit Barcelona sign Neymar

Top signing for them to further pull them apart from the pack. Neymar has a bit of an attitude...but no one goes to barcelona and keeps that attitude such is their stature and the respect they command in world football.

Would be a good signing, a goalscorer to go alongside Suarez's industry - but do Liverpool really have another £20m+ to spend on a third striker in a year?

Every reason to believe Neymar could be the next great player to come out of South America, it's a brilliant signing. And as you say, if there's one club that can belt that attitude out of him, it's Barca.

You could always sell Andy Carroll for 10 million to go towards it

Apologies

It was widely reported earlier this month that the reigning world, European and Spanish champions had paid €10 million (£8.3m) to the Brazilian side to secure first refusal on the forward.

However, Cardoner insists that no agreement has been reached with Santos, telling RAC 1: "To my knowledge we did not pay €10m to have a preferential option for Neymar."

Cardoner also stated that Barca coach Josep Guardiola will have the final say on whether the highly rated teenager will eventually make the switch to Camp Nou.
