Stats are even more annoying and dismissible when they are being SCREAMED at you like a hot tramp in a BrewPeak.

There again they are some people who think THIS means shouting. It doesn't. It's a few capital letters.

Tell you what, I'll change my posts to small if you promise to post in large fonts which I like

Why not simply use the "increase font size" button so it looks how you like it on YOUR screen but I get spared it on MINE?

I thoroughly dislike mindless, slavish following of conventions initially created by Geeks.

And where do I say that?

The "ridiculous convention" is that

CAPS

or

bold

or

BOLD-CAPS

or

Large Fonts



are "shouting".

AND NEITHER IS LARGE BOLD CAPS UNDERLINED IN RED, "shouting"

May or may not be shouting but I think the main criticism is that your presentation makes your posts less readable and detracts massively from any decent comment or information you might be passing.
