Ark Royal Whatever happened to the sly up-the-side-of-the-nose-pretending-to-have-an-itch digitus erectus? Footballers have the brains of rocking horses.
Apologies to any rocking horses reading this thread.

Judging by the expression, I would say apology not accepted.

6ft Kerplunk Its a bit pathetic that fans always get on their high horse about players reacting like this. If you're prepared to hurl abuse at a player for 90mins you shouldn't be offended if they give you the finger in return.

If Liverpool do not appeal this ban, Suárez's first match back will incredibly be against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Script written.

floyd__streete One day, a supporter is going to run on and punch an ignorant chav of a well-paid footballer and I, for one, will LOL.

2034: Liverpool have released a statement in the light of Luis Suarez's eight-game ban. They are not happy. It says: "We find it extraordinary that Luis can be found guilty on the word of Patrice Evra alone when no-one else on the field of play - including Evra's own Manchester United teammates and all the match officials - heard the alleged conversation between the two players in a crowded Kop goalmouth while a corner kick was about to be taken."
