Back home with the article in front of me:

Debate was raging even after the final whistle over the ownership of the second goal. Job McAnuff was widely credited with the strike although his shot clearly deflected in off a head, possibly that of team mate Simon Church. Home manager Brian McDermott refused to be drawn into debate but Gordon Greer added another angle. The Albion skipper said: "It hit my head actually. I just tried to get something on it to take it over".

Yeah, the defender touched it on the Church's head

melonhead are you the bald man?

wed have only won 2-0 without the "disinterested" kebe on for the 2nd half

Ridiculous statement, typical of a scientist with nothing more than an HND to his name.

If we'd had someone else on, how do you know we woudn't have won 4-0?

Or won 3-0 but without giving as many chances away?

That's right, you don't.

he always looks disinterested!
still our highest "assister"

tbf i agreed with you and the bald man to an extent-its just that we only had antonio on the bench to go out wide, and if that was the option, id rather have left the disinterested genius on

What was the defender doing on the church, and which part of the building is its head? Is it another word for spire?

UNinterested - educated people take disinterested to mean unbiased.
