Optimist ALF would never get any service :D

That would be the false alibi the other people at the bar would give him.

Handsome Man Did Porterfield get the sack for drink-driving?

Not sure if it was drink driving, but it was something drink-related. The suspicion is that Madejski wanted him out and this was the perfect excuse. Would he have sacked McGhee, Pardew or Coppell for a similar indiscretion?

Anyone, I'm sure most of us would get the sack from our companies if convicted of drink driving. I don't see why footballers should be any different.

Overweight, likes a drink, doesn’t score enough goals, once in a blue moon looks unstoppable – it’s like Mass Sarr without the Cruyff turns.

Having failed the first test, you'd think you'd leap at the chance of a second that might give you a better result.

I think you are might be right with that suspicion. Afterall, didn't the Welsh Windbag also get done for drink driving but remain an employee of RFC or is that totally incorrect?

Perhaps there is some truth in the assertion that most footballers are stupid!

That depends on when he had his last drink though.

Fearful of a more accurate reading perhaps. No pun.

Blood alcohol falls fairly quickly, so he was probably trying to delay them by pretending he didn't know what they were saying before doing a re-test. He was twice the legal limit, so would have had to keep them talking for an hour or so!

Not sure he would be that bright or knowledgeable unless, of course, he makes a habit of drink driving and working out how he can avoid getting caught/punished.

Based on the lack of stamina displayed since joing us, I doubt he could have kept it up for that long!

Ideal Disgusting behaviour.

Drinking and driving poses a clear danger to any other people on the road, and the consequences can be fatal.
His refusal to comply with the 2nd test, is further indicative of his failure to take this seriously, and his refusal to respect the law, and his disregard for human life.

If you drink and drive you have no regard for other people's life, you can easily kill several people. A car is a dangerous weapon in the hands of a drunken idiot.

Very, very disappointed. Hope he never plays for us again.

A nice measured response from our resident voice of reason and restraint.

Lmfao.

Someone has to photoshop in a car or steering wheel with some cops behind.

Such a bad move for a youngster/fringe teamer to be doing.

He could have been upset after taking is flashy car for a ride, only to find the cops want to pull him over. Black people do get stopped more often than others and most cops struggle with French.

Really don't understand why colour needs to come into it! the casual racism and constant double meaning posts are becoming tiresome.
