Completely taking my view out of context to be honest. Nowhere have I said they should sack him, or that two managers a season is what a football club needs. I was merely basing argument on the previous manager and how fickle Liverpool fans are when it comes to one of their own.

cmonurz Not really sure what point you are arguing. Like when they bought their baseball side, Fenway bought into the history of the club, its previous achievements and a desire to get that status back as the country’s best team. I don’t doubt that there will be more ‘business’ decisions under these owners than 20 years ago, and I never stated that that would be the case. But there is an ‘environment’ that permeates around Anfield, a culture that Fenway have spoken of in the past – add that Dalglish has the fans’ support (well whaddyaknow, a club legend gets the support of the fans, would you ever believe it), and he’ll get at least to the end of this season, I’d expect at least next too.

It’s disappointing that so many football fans (well, 1871 Royal and EIL so far) are fully signed up to the two managers a season approach of the modern day football club.

What they've done more recently with the Red Sox is more Liverpool esque. Spend a shed load of money on under performing players and finish 3rd in a 2 horse race.

Well they first won the Red Sox’ first title in a billion years, so it’s a slightly different situation. And what would Liverpool give to be 3rd?

Liverpool would never sack Dalglish. if results got that bad - they'd offer him a position 'upstairs' to save face.

What AVB m8? You might actually win a European trophy next season if you keep this form up.

A top 5 club. About right for a club of Chelsea's size don'tcha think?

Which team is the odd one out? Whitley Bay, Lowestoft, Glossop, Stevenage and Liverpool? All of them, except Liverpool have played at the New Wembley.

60 (Sixty) clubs have played at the new Wembley and Liverpool aren't one of them.

Out of interest (seeing as how the FA like to whore themselves out to all and sundry and thus hold finals such as the FA Vase etc there) - how many of those 60 are in the current PL? And how many are in the current FL?

Nevermind, 26 clubs, including Ipswich Town, have won the UEFA Cup/Europa League. Chelsea must have won that a few times, right?
