exileinleedscmonurz What exactly is 'utter tosh' ? I simply stated fact that Liverpool as a club does not historically shed managers Man City-style when things go a bit awry.
I've posted on plenty of threads in the past that managers don't get enough time - Hodgson should not have been sacked; Dalglish has had a year, give him another one, at least.
Might I tactfully point out, that I believe Liverpool no longer have their historical owners?
Do you really think that the current owners don't give a flying fukk about "history" or some romanticised view that the club is in some way special. It's not. It's a business. Any member that fails to achieve is likely to be out. THere is no room for sentiment in business.

No Fixed Abode Andy Carroll is 13/2 to score tonight against Man City. For those of you who don't understand betting. If you put £20 on, you lose £20.

PlasticRoyale 100 pages by the end of the season, is it doable? What would it take?

Isn't that how many years it's been since Liverpool last won the league?

No Fixed Abode 60 (Sixty) clubs have played at the new Wembley and Liverpool aren't one of them.

61 now...need another stat to dangle in front of the guppies.
Next you'll be giving us a about the fact that the number of children carried by Dennis Wise to collect the cup was an all-time record.

It is, but it's not nearly as long as 1955-2004...imagine that, 49 years without winning the League.
