Royal Lady Yes I know they haven't bought the shares yet - but one has to assume that they will be owning 51% within weeks - and much appears to have been made of the "giving Brian money" angle - I'm just saying, it isn't actually very much really! Not to say that it's not good or anything - as SJM obviously wouldn't have given him it anyway.

if ive learned anything about BMcD as a manager is that he was never likely to go in ask for 5 million quid and buy 3 million pound players, cos it would spoil his building process and together team ethic he spends so much time building

Extended-Phenotype Roberts, Cywka, Osbourne; this Russian money has come in handy. Now we can buy three times as much SH|T in the transfer window.

I heard just prior to the press conference a furious row between Jason Roberts and Chris Samuelson broke out. Chris Samuelson apparently politely put a hankerchief in Roberts' suit pocket but Roberts took it out and laughed and said 'who is this dude?'. Samuelson apparently went really red and grabbed Roberts by the jacket saying 'this is how we do things now' through gritted teeth. Roberts wasn't having any of it and they had to be separated (by Ady Williams who was the only person around who didn't just stand and stare). After McDermott had a word with Roberts, Jason reluctantly agreed to wear it for the cameras.

Not a great start though.

I heard Roberts kicked Samuelson in the knee because he thought Samuelson was trying to disrespect him.

In relative terms I've invested about as much money in this club as Sir John, probably more.

Don't hear me asking for it to be repaid though.

I'm impressed. Someone has managed to out do Kes's "RattLOLed" on the poor comeback stakes.

"Impressed" is not quite the word that comes to mind when I have ever read any of your contributions. :D
