Man Friday In relative terms I've invested about as much money in this club as Sir John, probably more.

Don't hear me asking for it to be repaid though.

you payed your money to go in and watch the football, ie you got your return on the day

getreading can confirm Zingarevich’s deal for the club does involve the sale of the stadium and the land around it, but not the hotel adjacent to it.

Am I reading this right? Does this mean Mr Mad owns 100% of the hotel but only 49% of the stadium and land around it (with TSI owning 51%)?

I've read it that TSI now own the stadium and land around the stadium but not the hotel. SJM retains his hotel, and 49% of the football club (I assume excluding stadium and land ownership).

It's pretty obvious he was going to keep the hotel as it has a garage for him to park his cars in.

The way I read it is that TSI will own 51% of the club and 0% of the hotel.

The club will continue to own the Stadium and land around it (but not the hotel).

Madejski will own 49% of the club.

Madejski will own 49% of the club.

There are other shareholders, STAR for one. I imagine all other shareholders combined must only have a couple of percent though.

Yeah I've ignored those as I doubt they even make up a % and, for the most part, everyone's been refering to the 51/49% split.

I didn't want to add in any more confusion!

Pretty much, although you said Madejski owns 49% of the land and stadium. He doesn't quite, he owns 49% of the club. It's the club who own the land and the stadium.

Not sure if thats a distinction worth making but if you want to get pedantic about it (which would never happen on HNA of course) there is a difference.
