Royal Lady To be perfectly honest, if it wasn't for the fact that we've already paid up front for our tickets - I'd not bother going to many games at the moment. I never get the buzz I used to get - win, lose or draw - don't why and don't know what's happened to change it but now, if the weather looks a bit inclement, I decide not to go. Went Saturday and I was bloody freezing though.
Agree with that. I don't get the buzz either. I did in the 106 season I thought the sky was the limit, even that first season in the prem. We were doing things the right way...staying faithful to the players we had a good player/fan relationship with and not investing heavily in the team ( even though for the next 5 years their wages would screw us over which we didn't realise at the time). In hindsight we shouldn't have been loyal as ultimately they weren't. It just proved to me that there is little hope for clubs who try and do things the right way...it doesn't work when you are up against people throwing money round without consequences. Its a case of can't beat them...join them. Its really not that appealing any more, most of my frustration is at the state of the modern day game..but I at least want to see my team knock the ball around and play exciting stuff when I turn up, we don't get that any more because we don't have any bright sparks in our team. Kebe on his day can be, but his day seems to come as often as Christmas at the moment. All we can do is watch how the Russian regime changes things.
