Barry the bird boggler I thought this thread was meant to be about the possibility of the non-existant transfer of Rhodes to Reading not discussion about every other player who might do a job here.
Has there been anything concrete posted anywhere on Rhodes to Reading since the Chronic talked up the likelihood of this move on Thursday?

FiNeRaIn I would drive down to london and pick bertrand up myself. Best left back we've ever seen at the club, ahead of shorey IMO.

Disagree. First and foremost, he needs to be able to defend. Sure, he is good going forward but defensively he has much to learn.

I've seen Bertrand playing for Forest, Norwich, and Reading and reckon he's overrated.

FiNeRaIn Might as well lock this, it would be a DREAM signing for us but its not going to happen in a million years.

FiNeRaIn Too good to be true. Having seen him play he is at bottom half of the prem striker at worst. Touch, movement, cleverness, etc just a class apart. We wont get him.

a premiership club will not risk him until he's proven at this level, especially for the money being touted.
