1871 Royal
Bath Hoops Christ what an anti climax that is !! We may have just kept Morrison at that rate.

Yeah, would rather have a player who has 0 championship apps to one who won the league last year, playing 33 times.

I wouldn't

Good news. It's exactly what we needed, a bit of cover, and he's played at this level. We were unlikely to break up the Pearce-Gorkss partnership for anyone, so at least we haven't paid for someone to sit on our bench.

The way they have bigged up connolly it sounds like he should be starting. Maybe he will go LB as he can play everywhere! Clever move though as he's played with Gorkss all of last season!

If we want a left back why don't we sign Bertrand? :|

Because Chelsea want to keep him, they only have Ashley Cole who can play lb and Bertrand has made the bench alot this season.

Sounds like a sensible Reading signing.

I still think there'll be one more signing. McDermott would dismiss more deals rather than leaving it open if asked, surely?

But what are the wages costing us?

Seems sensible not to invest in much beyond the summer wages wise when this deal could still fall through

Much happier to hear of this than I would have been to hear of Wayne Bridge signing.... that would have given me the sort of "how the fukk did they do that" moment when I heard Pompey had signed Sol Cambell. We all know what happens if you go down that route.

I'd be quite happy for them to shut up shop now- unless there are one or two who would be better off elsewhere.

Onwards and upwards.

Still need a proven attacking threat for the midfield - Keith Andrews would be ideal.....

Yep, definitely need an attacking midfielder, still too one dimensional

Don't think we should sell him, he gets on really well with Matt Mills so his form will probably pick up now that he's coming back.
