Turn down the PR System

by LoyalRoyalFan » 28 Jan 2012 20:05

I really don't want to listen to the latest current music at unbearable decibel levels. Keep it quiet.

No change there then. At least they are attempting to generate an atmosphere. Hate to think we would awake some fans from their slumber!

I thought the team ran out to different music yesterday - something Russian... anyone confirm

Oh and the volume is fine, if anything it needs to be louder for certain things (like the teams coming out)

Lastly get rid of that bloody awful goal music.

We ran out of ketchup outside the east stand. Fairly upset me that.

Asked for a top up but told not possible as machine operates on one cup portion basis and would overspill but pretty sure it was just on and off hot water!!!!

I'm not bothered about the volume of the PR system, but they need to lose the 'back the boys' bloke and the goal music.
And I agree with Paul about the Bovril measures!

Tannoy seem to have lost their way in the world. Used to be pretty much used everywhere instead of "PA System" (which I assume the OP is erroneously referring to).

Can't see sellotape, Coke, Google et al going the same way. I guess dyson are giving hoover a run for their money though so it's not entirely without precedent.

My hot chocolate (from the East stand burger van) was more than 1/2 cup of dry powder, with a floating hot water layer. After stirring it resembled lumpy brown porridge and went straight in the bin.

Also, when asked they couldn't even provide a lid.

Shocking state of affairs.

I appreciate you're a captive audience, but the mugs who buy that cr@p really only themselves to blame I'm afraid philM.

Don't stand for it - you're better than that.

I realised my stupidity, and the binning of it was indeed my righteous punishment, my only defence was that I was bloody freezing and it provided a brief hand-warming function

I love the song 'Right Here, Right Now' by Fatboy Slim. Please keep playing it at full volume before every match.
