Rangers out the cup and only 17,000 there. Has Scottish football ever been at such a low ebb as it is now?

New signing Cisse scores a stunning goal for Newcastle to give them a 2-1 lead.

Unless Newcastle totally toss it up from here, I think I'll find it difficult not to consider Pardew manager of the season. Wolves, Sunderland, Norwich and West Brom in their next 6, too.

Silver Fox
Victor Meldrew As Man City look to move effortlessy towards winning the Premier League.

They cruised past Everton on Wednesday didn't they?

Just like Man Utd have just cruised past Chelsea...oh.
2 points dropped against a Chelsea side that will be lucky to make the top 4.
Ferdinand and Young hardly looked like international footballers today and yet most pundits put them in our squad for the Euros and some think they will be starters.
BTW what is it about wingers when they go to Man utd?
First we had the spectacular diving by Ronaldo followed by Nani and now Ashley Young.
I know the whole team specialise in diving but other than Valencia the wingers are extra special at this art form.

I do like Gary Neville as a pundit and from him there is no bias but today dear old Martin Tyler sounded as though he was commentating for Man Utd TV rather than for the unbiased general audience of Sky.

Manager of the season, not manager of half a season.

If things go badly for 'arry this week, then Pardew is going to be hard to argue against. In his mind at least.

Exactly....Pardew has consistently overachieved with the Barcodes this season...I'm still expecting the O'Neill bubble to burst any second.

Couldn't agree more about that player having a go at the superstar that is Stevie G.
