Season Tickets 2012/13

by 1871 Royal » 17 Feb 2012 11:29

Season tickets for the 2012/13 season are on sale now and are up to £25 cheaper when you book in our early bird renewal period over the next six weeks.

With this early bird discount, supporters who book before 30th March will pay even less than they did this season, and also benefit from our lowest season ticket price since 2005 - and at that price you could be watching us playing Premier League football!

The Royals are in excellent form under Brian McDermott, so with the team playing attacking football and winning matches on the pitch, plus great value pricing for our fans in the stands, the club are trying to give the best possible overall experience to our supporters.

And next season promises to be yet another very exciting year to be a Reading fan, regardless of which division we are in.

Importantly, all new and existing 16 & under season tickets have been held at only £99, which is only £4.30 per Championship game. £99 for Premier League football would also represent incredible value. Our young supporters are the lifeblood of the club and we are keen to encourage as many youngsters as possible to show their passion for the Royals.

The key dates to remember are that the early bird renewal period ends on Friday 30th March, and the standard renewal period ends on Friday 27th April, after which season ticket holders' seats will no longer be reserved.

The club appreciate that season tickets represent a significant commitment from our fans, so we have also reaffirmed our value promise that season tickets are the cheapest way to support the Royals in 2012/13, and adults effectively get nine games free with our early bird offer. In order to help as much as possible, we have also set the early bird renewal period to cover two paydays for most fans, and payment plan options are also available to spread the cost over either four or ten months. The four-month plan costs only £15.

Season tickets will be even better value for money for 2012/13 as some individual Championship match ticket prices will increase slightly - advance adult ticket prices will rise by £2, concessions rise by £1 while advance 16 & under tickets remain unchanged at only £10.

Book now for what promises to be a very exciting 2012/13, either in the npower Championship or hopefully in the Barclays Premier League!

Early bird renewals, now until Friday 30th March, SAVE UP TO £25:
East, north and lower west stands: Adults £350, 17-21s £220, 65 & overs £220, 16 & under £99.
Upper west stand: Adults £400, 17-21s £250, 65 & overs £250, 16 & under £99.

Standard renewals, Saturday 31st March to Friday 27th April, PRICES HELD FROM 2011/12:
East, north and lower west stands: Adults £375, 17-21s £230, 65 & overs £230, 16 & under £99.
Upper west stand: Adults £425, 17-21s £260, 65 & overs £260, 16 & under £99.

New season ticket applicants, on sale now until Friday 27th April:
East, north and lower west stands: Adults £395, 17-21s £250, 65 & overs £250, 16 & under £99.
Upper west stand: Adults £445, 17-21s £280, 65 & overs £280, 16 & under £99.

Seat movers period: Starts on Monday 30th April, details to follow nearer the time.

Back on sale: At a date to be confirmed, season tickets would then go back on sale, and if we have been promoted a new Premier League pricing structure would be in place.

To renew, call 0844 249 1871, visit the stadium ticket office or use our online service readingfcdirect.co.uk. Existing Season Ticket holders have their seats reserved for them online. After logging into the system, go to Season Tickets and you will see your seat displayed, alternatively you can search for a new seat from the online stadium plan.

Perks of a season ticket:
• Guarantee your favoured seat for every home League game.
• Two £10 money-off vouchers for adults, to be sent out through the season.
• The best possible prices and discounts for home cup games.
• Ticket priority for high demand away matches. From next season, both season ticket status and number of Royalty Points will be used as criteria for key away games. Season ticket holders are being rewarded with the highest possible priority, in conjunction with their Royalty Points, as opposed to Royalty Points being the sole criteria used.
• New season ticket entry card for 2012/13.
• All those 16 and under automatically become Young Royals members, as well as receiving a £5 voucher and a free ticket to bring a friend to a game.
• Money off hospitality bookings.
• More exclusive offers throughout the season - this season we offered free tickets to Newbury races, extra match tickets to two games for only £5 and Waitrose & Domino's discounts, among others.

Details in the post: Current season ticket holders are also being sent this information in the post, along with a £5 Waitrose voucher, a 20% training wear voucher and a competition to visit the training ground.

Payment plan: We have a four-month payment plan, which costs only £15 and closes at 5pm on 27th April, as well as a ten-month payment plan at 19.9% APR. Both plans supplied by Zebra Finance.

Pretty bloody reasonable if you ask me.

Looking forward to finding out what the usual suspects find wrong with this though!

It's an excellent offer, fair play to Reading as prices seem to be going up rather than down at most clubs. Some League 2 clubs will have their ST prices higher than that I bet.

Still absolutely OUT tho.

1 April 2012 - April Fools day party

Dramatis Personae
- Mazer Mahmood former News of the World "fake Sheikh" aka Anton Zingarevich
- Sir John Madejski, a known practical joker
- Jason Roberts - a gullible Millionnaire
- 24,500 fully paid up season ticket holders

but a good deal, fair play. Also means Anton can't hike too much too quickly in subsequent seasons. If hes real...
