Eaststandman This is the kind of rumour (if true) that I find disturbing about wealthy owners, whose opinions can't be ignored for the obvious reasons, but Michael Owen?
Seriously, a wealthy and expensive, fragile, sick note, has been, who lives in the north west and likes to follow horse racing in a serious manner?
We can surely, and with all due respect to MO, do better for the future of our club than him?
It's not even as if he'd sell many shirts or put bums on seats in the way people like George Best and Rodney Marsh cameo's used to do in the twilight of their careers, is it?

Cripple Creek Up until now the signings of Roberts and Connelly have both proved to be inspired. That'll do for now.

Pepe the Horseman Would be all over Hleb. Should think Owen will retire at the end of this season though, he's a broken man
