The world of managers is a joke. It's like a giant roundabout with managers failing at clubs then moving to another and failing again.

Sven is the perfect example.
Why the F UCK would we want any of those names mentioned. Give it to Nigel Gibbs.

If football is a business then we should look to promoted/employ internally (First option). That is a pretty basic rule of business. Cost effective, the guy will have knowledge of the club and can grow into the position. Like McD.

But I don't think McD will leave anyway

Mark Robins would be a good choice when McD goes

He's fishing.

But, I actually think Robins would be a decent choice.

Murty is a really great call.

Although I worry he's a bit of a wuss.

i hope you're fishing too. robins has don't nothing to suggest he would be a good choice.

we, with an ambitious new owner, would want a proven manager to take us forward. if we can suddenly find the wages for the likes of roberts, we will surely aim high when appointing a future manager.

the likes of mick mccarthy, in my opinion, would be the stand-out candidate.

Reading are lining up Mick McCarthy as Brian McDermott's replacement. Steve Coppell is also on the wanted list, as is Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale.

The only way that McDermott leaving could possibly be any worse, would be if Murty was his replacement

Disagree, did very well at Rotherham, and had Barnsley playing decent football till the shit hit the fan.
