Wycombe Royal
rfc2001 no team has a better defence.

I thought Hull had conceded less.

Doesn't mean they have a better defence. Over the season they have had a better defence but we didn't start with Gorkss, and we have since added Connolly and got rid of Khumalo as well as Pearce/Federici making a vast improvement. We now have a better defence (although probably on par with Birmingham)

Roberts has a decent turn of pace over 40 yards. He just can't do it often. Hunt is hardly slow. It's McAnuff and Kebe that do the damage breaking from deep... Roberts and Hunt don't have to go that quickly, because they're further advanced most of the time. Kitson was hardly lightning and we were a great counter attacking team in his day.

Roberts today out pacing a Middlesbrough defender when breaking being a good example. Shame he ran into the next one who took the ball away.

The next 6 games now look critical

A Millwall
H Portsmouth
H Leicester
A Doncaster
A Barnsley
A Peterborough

4 out of 6 away but every game, on the face of it, is winnable as none of them are in the top 10
After that it starts to get more difficult, so we need to pick up as many as we can while the going is good

Think 16 points is realistic out of them.

We are capable of beating all of those, but those three away games in a row look... tiring

I wonder if the will come home though, its tuesday, saturday, tuesday and they could quite easily do Donny -> Barnsley -> Posh while staying in various places and using other training grounds.

Be nice to be on 73 Points "in the POs" with 8 games to go, a steady 1.5 ppg from there would be 85 points

Don't fancy us getting a win against Pompey and think we'll slip up against at least one of Millwall, Barnsley and Posh.

Probably Millwall if Henderson is fit and playing still. He's got a bit of a record against us.
