When did we last keep 5 clean sheets on a row? And can we go better than 8 wins last year?

Here for the KEBE

Why unfortunately?!! Sorry but the Hunt Roberts partnership is bearing fruit. Isn't it something like 5 goals & 1 assist from the pair of them in 6 games? Sorry but you'd be a fool to change the front 2 right now. Hunt is doing well.

Each to their own

5 goals + 1 assist in 5 games. 5 wins, 5 clean sheets.

Definitely time to change things around upfront.

Just a few observations...

Absolute pure class free kick by Harte for the 2nd...
That was a quality Middlesbrough team, except for the final third (which might be a reflection of how good we are at the back)...
And of course rock solid defending, and another clean sheet, yet again...
What a horrible turnout for Middlesbrough with those who did bother showing up for a 6 pointer making little noise and leaving early...

Really impressed with Connolly too.

Great win, roll on. 8)

Archie's penalty Mcanuff is playing shite today. Get Hal on.

He was awesome today

Defended well, broke well, linked play well.... But poor shooting and couldn't quite beat the last defender to create a killer chance. Not his best game by a long shot, so disagree he was awesome. But to say he was shite is the dribblings of a partially sighted lunatic.

2002 ish according to SSN - 7 on the bounce in Oct / Nov 2002 must be the candidate. Including six wins on the bounce.

2002 was the last time according to the commentary on the live feed I watched. Amazing.

Lesson 1 in how to win away in The Championship - watch recent Reading FC games, superb win.

i fancy our chances away to millwall and then home to pompey. pompey will be a laugh if we take the lead. they are now 6 from safety, could be worse by the time they come here. we will mock them to death that day.

pay up pompey, pompey pay up...

I fear the Pompey curse will continue....now is as good a time as ever to break it though.

Last year wasn't too bad? 1-1 and 2-0?

Agreed. You have to wonder whether their attack is just shit or our defence is fantastic.

Either way a fantastic away performance and a result I didn't expect. I really think we could get top 2 now.

pompey have just lost their best striker. kitson will do us a favour and miss everything.

it's got that derby feel about it as well, so i'm really looking forward to it. i want millwall out the way and roll on a week tuesday.

The game at Upton Park could be pivotal now...

Honestly, I think the Southampton game will be more pivotal, especially as we have a game in hand on them.
