If it was offensive to you and your kids at the time then surely it would have been a better option to highlight this at the time. Get them under observation and get the Stewart's to actually do the job they are paid to do. This would dissipitate any friction aimed at other supporters in the area and be quickly resolved. It's a balance as to how or if you find this kind of exposure acceptable to any age group.

Anyway, I go back to the original post - this forum is in reference to club policy and all I ask is that they try to think who they are selling tickets to in a certain part of the ground.Is that so hard to grasp?
I wasn't the only one moaning - there were plenty of people in rows a lot closer to it than me ... maybe they complained.The question is, is it worth complaining as most people here seem to condone that type of behaviour as normal football etiquette. Sad.

If you haven't complained, quit your whining. How exactly are the club supposed to clairvoyantly know these people would be trouble? RFC isn't some sort of highly senstive intelligence agency where thorough background checks are done on everyone buying a ticket.

How are they supposed to know something happened if the people who are upset sit there just muttering under their breath looking disapproving?

You think the club read this forum all the time? If you have a problem with a club policy the best bet is to contact the club and maybe follow it up with a comment on here about it, esp if you don't hear from the club or don't like their response. Yes it's a discussion board, but we can't change club policies for you on here! And it's better for lots of people to complain about the same incident, than all think the others will complain ead instand, in effect, no-one does...

If these were regulars- possibly. If they can be identifiable and if there is a repeat. CCTV stills are not always the best. Also if there is a PTZ and it specifically targets the individuals at the time then fine. Other than that then as stated this needs dealing with in the here and now.

I witnessed a (RFC) thugtw@t threatening a young woman with violence at Watford two seasons ago. I could not believe what I was seeing. Of course, he had a dozen m8s to back him up.

The bloke who sits about 8 seats down from me threatened to hit me once - I should have complained about him really - but he always looks so uncomfortable every time I have to walk past him these days that I think he's realised the error of his ways.

LOL - this sort of thing happens all the time at the Mad Stad. Lost count how many times I've seen arguements/scuffles etc, especially between gobby women and men. It's pretty pathetic to get so wound up about football really.

To be clear, he was the one wound up about football - he was effing and blinding at Nick Shorey at the end of a game and I merely said "oh come on, he wasn't THAT bad" and he told me to shut up or he'd smack me one! Saw him yesterday as it happens. He's a fat tw@t.

FTR I have done this in the past and got a good response from the club, can't really criticise the club when they have systems in place for dealing with this sort of behaviour that you don't use.
