If we only hand down one complete thrashing this season, please let it be tonight.....

There is one in us this season; you just feel that SOMEONE is going to get a tonking sooner or later.......

Err, might I respectfully point out that beating WHU at ours was actually a bit of a tonking.

Having said that, they don't seem to have a striker, so I can't see them scoring much...depends if we can break them down....a goal is all it takes. Still would be nice to improve our goal difference so 3 or 4 would be nice.

If the bucket beggars are out for them tonight, I hope you will carefully, and noticibly put 4p in the pot....for their creditors like.

I'm personally going for 3-1 Reading.

I fear for this game.

Too many predictions of an easy 3 points. (Pompey problems la,de,da,de,da etc........we're on such a good run.... )

We could come unstuck if we get complacent.

Pompey aren't that bad.

0-0 optimistically.

Looks like Pompey will have a fairly strong squad so i'm expecting a tight game. Just hope our wingers and midfielders can bully them to make them tired easily. Hoping for a 1-0 win but would love a thrashing that so many people think will happen!

7 Wins on the bounce?... :)

Yh it's my first post, and I'm a newbie, but I'm going to stick my neck out and say 3-0 Reading with Roberts, Pearce and Alf getting the goals.

Wycombe Royal I didn't say it wasn't, I was just point out the error in saying "never".

Figure of speech perhaps?

The poster above doesn't mean that if we lose we will actually have egg on our faces either.

How do you know he doesn't?

Only a 1,000 Pompey fans + loads of seats in the North Stand = my estimate of 18,300 may have been toppy!

Based on recent free-scoring evidence and the fact that our top scorer has 6 goals all season? :|

Has a club ever been promoted before where their top scorer hasn't even made it to double figures?

Is he not suggesting, after the defensive balls up on Saturday, that we will be receiving it?
