FiNeRaIn He's not going to be coming to us in a million years now. Should have made huddersfield a big offer in Jan. Someone will take a punt in the summer from the lower half of the prem.

He won't be going to Rangers either

That would be a middle worth about £11 million...

That's if it would cost £5 mill for Rhodes... if he keeps scoring it may...

Ideal I'm really not sure about this Rhodes, I seem to remember Jamie Moralee scoring 30'ish goals in a season, and he never ammounted to anything.

Yeah but it's not just one season, he has 65 goals in 111 games for Huddersfield.

Not strictly true. I saw Jamie banging them in for Barry Town 10 years ago on his way to a wpl title!

Played for Palace, Watford, Millwall, Colchester and others in the early to late 90s. He peaked at Millwall with a good return of goals as I recall. Later scored a shedload for Barry Town (as per above comment implied).

1,625 Minutes 12 Major Contributions one every 136 Minutes 7 Goals 5 Assists ALF

Those are seriously good stats.

If Alf had more play time they would probably improve, too

From a Huddersfield mate and HTFC season ticket holder up in Sheffield:

Reading have signed a pre-agreement with Huddersfield for striker Jordan Rhodes. This move is dependant however on Huddersfield not winning promotion to the Championship. No idea of the fee as Reading like to keep things close to their chest, but Nicky Hammond has been working on this move for some months and been seen in the stands on a few occasions. Reading centre defender Sean Morrison has had a very successful second loan at Huddersfield and will go in the other direction as part of the deal.

Tbh i dont realy want him, not proven at championship level let alone at prem, we need players like Stephen Fletcher or Moses or McCormack etc, ones who r proven at championship level and could cut in prem.

McD having scouting abilities, we must trust in him. If Hammond and McD are impressed by him, we must trust.

Looks similar to Alf in a lot of ways, knows where to be
