Terrific game but can't understand the Torres love-in.

He ran around a bit off the ball but with the ball all he did was dribble into defenders try over ambitious passes that were intecepted and mess up two half decent chances. It's a sign of how low he's sunk when his major highlight was two defensive headers away. Have to say fair play to Chelsea fans though, they're still supporting him. I can think of many places where they'd have turned on him long before now!

If you watch at full time everyone is going mental...di matteo is running around and jumps on torres who is just walking slowly like he doesn't care and is surprised to get jumped on. Why is he not joining in with the hysterical celebrations? :|

You can see how much it meant to di matteo, terry, lampard, drogba, etc where torres the jury is more than out after that reaction.

Playing like that I think I'd fancy Chelsea to beat anyone else in the draw apart from the two Spanish teams, Chelsea Bayern could be a great match.

At the end of the day, it was a good win, but nothing is won yet. Nobody remembers the CL quarter finalists. Torres was walking over to congratulate someone and before he could, Di Matteo jumped on him. I think you're reading a bit too much into it.

Since 2003/04, Chelsea have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League more times (7) than any other side (Barcelona 6).

Not sure, but that's quite a bit of prize money right there.

tbh it was a tad embarrassing the way Di Matteo was celebrating

He obviously wants the job and was showing it in the way he was celebrating, showing he cares for the club.

Although i do agree we did celebrate like we'd won the CL...

He should have dedicated it to AVB  - after all, if it wasn't for him then he wouldn't even be there

How would anyone at Chelsea know how to do that?

Even Torres would have taken some of these tap-ins, and etc.

I am actually happy for Chelsea though. An English team over an Italian team every single day of the week. And Torres will come good too, I hope. Eventually. But probably in the Euros against Ireland.

Royal Rother I know it's not the Champions League but Blimey, if Bilbao had Messi they could have put 6 past Man Utd.

Very impressive.

Same again. Brilliant to watch, just fantastic football.

Man Utd have a new a-hole.
