At least AVB has a new job opportunity; Tranmere have just sacked their manager as well.

Former Reading player Jim McIntyre sacked by Dunfermline.

If I recall he was one of Burns few signings that wasn't a complete disaster

Unfortunately, he was signed as a talisman striker and hit something like 6 goals in 40 games.

Took about 2 years for the club to work out he was a winger! Still thought he was a decent player.

Good move from them to be fair, would rather they go down than any of the others clubs at the bottom for no other reason that's grim and miles away but they've given themselves a chance.

Indications at our old friends Wolves is that Moxey and Morgan have decided that Terry Connor ISN'T the right man for the job after all, and are going to go back to Steve Bruce to see if he will manage them now.

But that Bruce will tell them to get stuffed!

The story that keeps on giving!!

Wolves have got no chance of staying up. They can't defend for toffee, their confidence is shot, and the goals have dried up. Bruce would be a fool to take it now.

A 'fool' with little pressure as they are expected to go down and he will then have one of the strongest championship squads for next year.

Would be called a fool if he took it in the summer once relegated. Why not take it now when there is a slim chance of staying up and gaining huge credibility along with a bumper pay day that I am sure he would request
