grey_squirrel 1. Gorkss
2. Pearce
3. Fed or Karacan
Agree with the posters, Pearce has only turned his game and gained greater confidence because of the presence of Gorkss
hes been great every time hes had a run of games in a settled defence.

The Rouge Surprised to see Pearce way ahead of Gorkss to be honest.

Stuka A tough call this year, as so many players have impressed but I've gone for Feds. He works as hard as ever and is a spirited goalie. Lots of clean sheets, I've noticed many great saves. Of course he's part of a strong defensive setup overall but I'd like to give him my vote.

I reckon it's the local link (or racism, if you will)
Personally i'm amazed Karacan is so high. Just don't see it myself, although I guess fans do love a tryer.

The irony being (given the 02/03 debacle) that Harper really should have won it 07/08.

Pearce wins for goal celebrations alone

melonhead pearce has been great whenever hes had a decent partner- he was average alongside khumalo at the start of the season
and id say his ball retention, and passing have improved imeasurably this season, now he is confident that hes not going to have to cover his partners mistakes
