... just to join in :D :D :D

I see KKKing KKKenny has also started quoting from the Rafa/Houlier Bumper Big Book of excuses : " We were tired!" ...bless.
:roll:

... bet he wishes Stevie G. gets back from his long-term injury soon; for his customary dominant performances in midfield ??? (Oh! :wink: )

Still: makes TalkScouse an entertaining pastime on Sat/Sun AM wih 'Sags' putting the boot in on Micky 'La' Quinn.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PS Anyone else notice how 99% of Lollerpoolol fans phoning in are from anywhere but Liverpool - I thought it was only ManUre whose fans ... never mind!
... and check out the artsy portraits of their Presenters on the TalkSh!te website too - looks like they've all had serious Collagen chin/cheek implants - presumably to make Brazil's head look a normal shape.
Alvin also looks like Ray Winstone - Andy J is gurning and right at the bottom Stanley looks like he's lost his local Car Park Season Ticket! :P
Scouse blokes I know were at the game on Saturday, said Anfield was like a wake and KKKing KKKenny has lost it.
Up until this weekend in Wigan had never beaten a top 6 side away from home in the Prem.
And they still haven't.
cmonurz Dominic King is right, Dalgish IS the right man for Anfield.
I genuinely don't know how anyone can truly believe this. What has Dalglish done since his return to give any indication that he can turn Liverpool into serious contenders again? He's at risk of tarnishing his legendary status at this r8 and there's a few Liverpool fans I've spoken to who agree.
There can’t be many fans who want a return to the team Hodgson was fielding, with one full-back, Ryan Babel the only winger, and Dirk Kuyt on his own up front.
Last season when Dalglish came in Liverpool has had good a record as anyone in the league.
Add in the cup runs, you can’t under-estimate the impact a cup win could have on the club. And that Liverpool have competed with and beaten the best sides this season.
There has been progress, but Liverpool are light years behind the Manchester clubs, and that isn’t going to change in the foreseeable future.
Do you still believe Dalgish is the right man for the job?
Yes, that's not going to change because Liverpool finish 8th instead of 5th.
If you're suggesting my mind would be changed by a freak 15 minutes at QPR (where Liverpool played well) and a rubbish performance against WIgan (where they didn't) then you strike me as somewhat of a knee-jerk football fan.
This season was about trying to qualify for the Champions League - it hasn't happened but there have been positives in their cup runs, and peformances against the big sides (I haven't checked but I'd venture they have the best overall record in the league against the top 4 or 5, I don't know).
The team remains inconsistent and a couple of signings have disappointed, but that's not grounds for Dalglish's sacking.
Now I wait to see how many constructive responses I get. Only my opinion guys, suck it up. :lol:
I respect your opinion, but you cannot seriously dress this season up as a success in any way, except beating Cardiff in the League Cup Final. And that was on penalties. These past two results were capitulations.
Keep patronising lies on AE.
Whatever our views on this thread, no doubt a bunch of Americans are having more or less daily meetings on whether or not Kenny really is unsackable.
Well I haven't. I'd said that the club hasn't met it's target, however in the context of whether Dalglish should keep his job, the positives are relevant. They could still finish 5th or 6th and win two cups, that wouldn't be a disaster by any means, but we'll see how the rest of the season pans out.
Cups/Europa League are for the Aston Villas and Chelseas of this world. Also-rans.
1. Lux - These kind of posts need three examples, the first two being straight and the third being the insult. One + one doesn't work as well. It's not as if you need be short of examples; Birmingham City won it last year.
2. The "also-rans" comment should be superfluous. You make the insult by implication. If you felt that you needed to add the clarification, then something has gone wrong with the main part of the post (see point 1. above).
3. Who are you meant to be insulting, Chelsea or Liverpool? You seem to be trying to do both, but if you include two potentially big clubs in the insult by comparison, you risk diluting the insult by comparison, which, as you will by now have realised, was already dangerously weak as a result of your failure to include the requisite number of clubs.
Kenny's purchases since he took over have been absolute garbage apart from Enrique and Bellamy. None of the others have lived up to their hype or money paid for them. You could possibly say Henderson and Carroll are both young enough to warrant a little more time but to be honest I've seen little to confirm that - but then that could be down to the way the team plays.
Add to that the fact Kenny still has no clue as to what his best side is and still hasn't realised Gerrard doesn't fit in as a CM in the Liverpool team given the way they play (I think there's a system in there somewhere) then for most managers I would say the end is in sight.
However I expect the club to give him until the end of next season to prove he does know what he's doing and make some sense of the mess there at the moment. Losing Lucas certainly hasn't helped him or the team but they should be good enough to cope with the loss of one player.
Funny how alot of proper scousers want Dalglish moved 'upstairs'. It's only the Southern based fans who 'follow' Liverpool want KKKenny to stay.
His signings are shocking - they are buying like they are a Villa or Everton.....not a side who believe they should be winning the league
I mean Charlie Adam? :lol:
How very dare a Chelsea fan comment on any other club and what they could or should do about their managers.
I give you:-
Mourinho
Hiddink
The ex-Brazil manager
Grant
Ancelotti
Villas-Boas
Di Matteo
They now look like finishing 5th or 6th (just above Liverpool) and still nowhere near winning even one,just one European Cup.
Look at yourself first mate because from where I'm sat Chelsea have real problems and a new ground not even in sight.
Didn't see as Kenny only got about 5 seconds on MOTD did but did the Suarez handball get defended? And did he also say something along the lines of 'he's not a cheat?'
Not true. One of those clubs you mention have achieved some big things in the past and succeeded on the top stage of European Club football. And that club is Aston Villa.
